X2 bringt das iTablet raus – Windows-Tablet mit Intel Atom-Prozessor

Die britische Firma X2 Computing hat einen neuen Tablet-PC vorgestellt: Das iTablet getaufte Gerät läuft mit Windows-Betriebssystemen (Windows 7 und Windows XP Tablet-Edition) oder Linux, besitzt einen 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 Prozessor und 512MB bis 2GB RAM-Speicher. Der 10,2 Zoll XGA Bildschirm hat 1024×600 Bildpunkte (Pixel).
Das Tablet ist 252×192mm groß, 35 Millimeter dick, wiegt 1,18 Kilogramm und bietet eine 250GB große Festplatte, UMTS und Bluetooth, 3 USB-Ports und einen HDMI-Ausgang. Auch eine Webcam mit 1,3 Megapixeln ist mit an Bord. Ein Preis ist noch jedoch nicht bekannt.
